Wise Entertainment is seeking a Research & Development Intern to assist the R&D team in our Santa Monica office on projects currently on the company's slate. Previous entertainment office or development experience is a plus but not required. The candidate must be highly motivated with strong organizational skills and work ethic, a positive attitude and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Interns required for a minimum of two days (or 16 hours) per week, schedule is flexible. The internship is unpaid, but may be done for school credit.
Responsibilities include:
- Formative research
- Development of research presentations
- Script content analysis
- Survey design and evaluation
- Qualitative and quantitative data analysis
- Assessment of social media platforms and media coverage.
Desired skills:
- Keynote or Powerpoint
- Familiarity with common social media platforms
- Familiarity with the Adobe suite of graphic design applications (not required)
- Video editing (not required)
This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to learn film and television development with an emphasis on socially conscious & progressive content. We are a fun and creative team with a broad diversity of experience and expertise. We place enormous emphasis on providing practical training to help our interns develop their skills. Must have a laptop.
