***Description***
Creative powerhouse and music collective Weirdo Workshop is looking for a Marketing and Operations intern to work directly with the operations team shadowing and executing various elements of social media, live event and label planning, and administration. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with day-to-day office operations, assisting with creative ideas, covering duties on-site at events, conducting research, sourcing items for upcoming projects, and assisting with expense management.
***Responsibilities***
- Monitor and report weekly social media activity across social platforms
- Stay ahead of the curve on developing social media trends
- Help brainstorm and identify new content and promotional/discovery channels for project related assets
- Support events, productions, and projects by researching, helping with setup and breakdown
- Assist with daily office upkeep, tasks, and errands
- Update inventory and project related spreadsheets and calendars using applications such as Google apps and Apple Numbers, Pages, & Keynote or Microsoft Office
***Requirements***
- Must be available at least 3 days within the business week
- Attention to detail and able to communicate clearly
- Able to conduct thorough research for projects
- Must be dependable, have high energy, and be a self-starter
- Able to think strategically and work with a sense of urgency
- Must be able to work confidentially and maintain a professional profile - Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Able to commute and work from own laptop
