Watson Design Group is an award-winning creative boutique specializing in digital storytelling and online development- we are imaginative, innovative, and driven by our passion for interactive design. Projects we've brought to life include campaigns for Swiss Army Man, The Jungle Book and The Hunger Games franchise as well as experiential features for League of Legends and X-Files. We've had the pleasure of working with clients from Disney to A24, Lionsgate to Warner Bros., and are constantly looking forward to creating new, exciting digital marketing initiatives. Responsibilities:
Administrate web server and code deployment on various cloud platforms
Administrate GIT workflow
Installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of computer hardware, software and peripheral equipment in a timely manner
Perform administrative network operations including establishing and maintaining user accounts, data paths, passwords, e-mail accounts, Internet connectivity, and data retention operations
Proficient working knowledge of office equipment including IP-based telephones, fax machines, printers, etc.
Maintain Hardware Inventory and Maintenance
Maintain detailed records related to assigned activities
Meet deadlines and timelines by organizing work schedule to correspond with technical support
Multi-task and have the flexibility to take on various office duties
Qualifications:
Server administration and basic programming/development experience is a MUST-HAVE
Proficient working knowledge of server-side scripting language(s)
Clear understanding and working knowledge of GIT workflow
Proficient working knowledge of Windows, OSX, Linux, and various other operating systems
Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, personal accountability and courtesy
Work independently and collaboratively with Lead Technical Developer
Bachelor's Degree preferred, an Associate Degree with at least 1 year of IT related experience, or 2-3 years of experience as an IT technician
Interest/passion for entertainment, film, gaming, and pop/internet culture is a bonus
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Strong attention-to-detail and experience in maintaining impeccable organization
