Position Objective:
Assist in supervising, training, and motivating staff of approximately 50 College Marketing Reps. Under direction of College Label Services Director, work closely with various departments within WEA & ADA and at the labels to outline and implement college marketing strategies for priority artists and projects. Provide critical support functions for College Label Services department including maintaining daily communication and follow-up with reps and assisting with hiring and training of new recruits.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day activities of up to 50 college students. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting reps with outstanding projects and tasks, enforcing deadlines, ensuring new hires are on-boarded properly and understand their new responsibilities, working with label contacts to help organize market-specific campaigns and requests and communicating changing updates to existing campaigns.
Update and maintain daily excel grids, tracking various data including concerts and events attended, social media followers for each rep, requested and received tools, rep progress and performance.
Mentor and assist Reps with their responsibilities and assignment completion via regular phone conversations, emails, and group calls.
Recruit College Rep candidates via online postings, flyers, word of mouth, and relationships with universities. Screen qualified applicants and conduct first round interviews for potential candidates. Work closely with HR representative to ensure new hires are accounted for and receive required paperwork and access.
Assist with training/orientation for all new College Reps and facilitate exit interviews for those leaving the program. Continually adjust approach to better articulate desired objectives and work with the Director to implement ideas and changes received during exit interviews.
Maintain College Rep Training Manual, College Rep Portal Website and other department resources.
Work with Creative & Design team to create flyers, graphics, and promotional tools and run point for any miscellaneous creative needs within the department.
Execute tour support objectives - Work with label tour departments to solicit tickets for reps to attend/work concerts across the U.S. Formulate directives and send out tools. Readily available to solve any potential day-of issues with the venue or guest list.
Manage social media initiatives. Regularly update social media platforms and coordinate one-off digital promotions for the team. Offer and implement ideas and suggestions to better improve the department and rep's digital footprint.
Record and distribute notes on bi-weekly team conference calls.
Attend regular WEA/ADA and label marketing meetings and assist with the brainstorming and development of artist marketing campaigns.
Maintain inventory lists and coordinate distribution of all POP and campaign tools for the team.
Identify college demographic trends, analyzing and sharing feedback related to the digital and social media space, relevant campus clubs and organizations, and key market events.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop a plus.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent business experience.
