We currently have an opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor to join our GBSI payroll team.
Formed in 1999 to integrate all Warner Bros. employee services into one shared-service organization, Global Business Services Inc. (GBSI) provides payroll, travel and expense, human resources, HRIS, IT and benefits administrative services to the Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies.
In this role, you will be responsible for payroll administration, payroll audit, and the application of best practice payroll processes for the entertainment industry. You will advise staff on complex payroll inquiries from employees, customers and stakeholders. You will closely work in the Workday Payroll system to load pay input, make adjustments in time entries, calculate pay, cancel or reverse payments, and calculate garnishments, adjustments and pensions. You will also oversee processes designed for control and compliance of payroll processing.
We are looking for someone with a college degree in business or accounting, minimum 7 years of work experience in payroll, preferably in the entertainment industry. We are also looking for someone with strong Excel and data mining skills, previous experience managing a large team and CPP certification is highly desired. Previous experience with Workday HR/Payroll is not required but certainly a plus. We are a collaborative team and we would love to add a hardworking team player to the mix!
