Compensation Consultants assist in the planning & development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs for Cast Members, Imagineers and Crew within Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. They are responsible for providing advice and counsel to leaders pertaining to the total rewards strategy of their workforce. They also assist with researching and evaluating alternative programs to help attract, retain and engage the employees in the organization.
Additionally, this role will project manage a variety of initiatives, ranging from internal process improvements to cross-segment programs. These projects may include the management of the annual increase planning process, conducting benchmark studies to determine market position as well as conducting analysis to provide recommendations to senior leaders within the organization around regulatory matters.
Given the global nature of compensation, this position will have the opportunity to interface with peers from other parts of the The Walt Disney Company, including international team members, to gain and share a broad knowledge of compensation practices.
Responsibilities
• Lead compensation projects with peers
• Conduct market benchmark assessments
• Evaluate and level new and existing jobs
• Complete rate quotes for newly promoted and newly hired employees
Basic Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Minimum 3 years experience (within the last 5 years) in Finance, Human Resources or related field
• Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP HR
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Proven analytical, problem solving, partnering and program-design skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Proven experience in compensation
• Proven experience in project management
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources or equivalent
