Full Time Job
We have an opportunity for a Learning and Development Co-ordinator to join the UK HR Team on a fixed term contract. (This would also be considered as a secondment opportunity for an internal candidate).
The L&D Co-ordinator will act as an ambassador for learning and development and work closely with the L&D Manager to support the business and drive continuous improvement. They will provide a proactive and efficient customer oriented service which adds value to the HR team and UK Lines of Businesses.
The successful candidate will ensure that stakeholder engagement is maintained in all aspects of their work.
Responsibilities
The L&D Co-ordinator will be the point of contact for Learning & Development UK initiatives and processes relating to employee development and provide exceptional service for the UK & Ireland L&D portfolio, responsibilities will include:
• Running, monitoring and maintaining the UK L&D calendar (full responsibility) including all tasks related end to end:
• Content management, communication, promotions, liaising with delegates for all course material, liaising with providers, location management, monitoring of participants
• Own first day Induction programme
• Own ''Welcome to Disney'' programme for cast members and Interns
• manage, maintain and update information, coordinate and facilitate/run event
• Own the L&D quarterly newsletter
• Content management, drafting, communication
• Responsible for managing the Digital Marketing initiative ''Dot.Native'' process
• Responsible for managing the Lynda.com subscription process
• Supporting (Reverse) Mentoring Scheme for UK
• Supporting Job Shadowing for UK
• Ensure efficient, timely and accurate administration of the regional training duties and activities
• Local superUser for D Learn / D Me
• Utilize for all UK programmes, initiatives and processes to promote the D Learn / D Me tool
• Own Email inbox and manage independently
• Organise and maintain all learning and development equipment as well as stationery supplies
• Provide overall L&D session support
• Managing dates, confirming with vendors, catering, room setup, equipment availability and set up, and ensure facilitator is welcomed prior to a training event, introduction and closure of session
• Manage Purchase Orders for L&D, code and process invoices through SAP
• Actively promote L&D whenever possible and help drive overall positive employee experience
• L&D reporting
Basic Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience
• Graduate level or equivalent work experience
• Project coordination and administrative experience
• Strong stakeholder and expectation management
• Background in HR / L&D is advantageous
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple, conflicting tasks in a busy environment
• Demonstrates customer service focus both consistent and responsive
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrates a proactive approach and takes ownership – an awareness of the impact of their actions
• Demonstrates a desire to learn
• Self-starter, capable of taking ambiguous concept through to practical rollout
• Proven Microsoft Office skills including Word (Advanced), PowerPoint (Intermediate), Excel (Intermediate) and Outlook
