Global Marketing Manager
WWE is seeking a Global Marketing Manager to execute marketing efforts to support growth of all international lines of business. This position will work with external partners and internal departments to coordinate activities with a focus on increasing brand awareness, generating interest and positive recognition for WWE.
This position will report to the Director, International Marketing and is a critical role in the team with opportunities to develop and grow in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day marketing assets development and distribution to support WWE TV, Pay Per View, and Network with internal international marketing team and external partners
• Manage day-to-day activities for ''Street Team'', including overhaul of program, to benefit all lines of business with feedback from trusted fans
• Manage international Live Event Tour marketing activities coordination with multiple internal departments, including activity scheduling, in-venue promotion for all lines of business partners and in-show integration approvals
• Manage creation and distribution process for multiple in language monthly Network emails, as well as any ad-hoc country specific marketing campaign emails
• Assist in day-to-day management of Canadian TV partnerships
• Manage activities on ground during international Live Event tours, when needed
• Maintain strong internal relationships with departments such as Communications, Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR), Creative, Digital, Social Media, Consumer Product Goods (CPG), Live Events, TV, Talent Relations etc. to leverage cross departmental opportunities and ensure efficient communication
• Keep current with WWE programs, products, characters and storylines
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree (in Marketing, Communications or Business preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment coordinating marketing campaigns and fan clubs; experiential marketing, media, sports or entertainment experience preferred
• Strong organizational, communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, customer service, problem solving and project management skills
• Proficient computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be digital and social media savvy; experience in email creation and distribution via CRM vendor a plus
• Able to work professionally with employees, Talent, and external contacts of all functions and levels
• Proactive and able to work independently using good business judgment and common sense, with extreme level of detail
• Can-do, flexible attitude and demeanor, and willing to ''roll up sleeves'' and pitch in as needed
• Responsible, reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Valid driver's license and vehicle that can be used for business as needed
• Able to work flexible hours and travel as required (includes international travel)
