WWE is seeking a Licensing & Retail Director to manage, develop and support the growth of WWE's consumer products business across the UK through regular communication, updates and continued support to all hard-line, soft-line, promotional and retail partners. This will involve the assistance and timely flow of all WWE paperwork in-line with WWE guidelines and set performance to optimise royalty income through licensee and retail placements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help determine the strategic direction and growth opportunities for the consumer products business across UK
• Oversee deal memo processing, contracts and partner commercial questions
• Work closely with regional team bringing together event activity plans, cross line of business promotional information, and sharing this with WWE partners
• Continue to build and support relationships with global toy, intercative, home entertainment, construction and noveltly partners throughout their regional offices
• Set up and co-ordinate quarterly licensee workshops
• Develop and oversee UK monthly newsletters to licensees
• Help troubleshoot to ensure our brand extension programme is managed effectively and efficiently
• Develop marketing and promotional plans with other regional staff
• Assist in forecast royalty and sales revenues on a quarterly basis for budgeting purposes
• Build, nurture and manage partnerships with all UK licensees
• Work with leading retailers to secure retail promotions
Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years licensing experience including brand management knowledge
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Microsoft Office including, word, excel and outlook
• PowerPoint & Keynote
• Creative flair both in generating ideas and execution
• Willingness to learn and the desire to progress
• Strong oral and written communication skilled with ability to present to senior level management
• A degree would be desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of a foreign language would be a plus but not essential
