FINANCE INTERN - MTV, COMEDY CENTRAL AND NICKELODEON
FIXED TERM CONTRACT TILL JUNE 2018

The Department:
The Finance Department is fully integrated into the business and is responsible for handling all financial matters that impact Nickelodeon, Comedy Central & MTV including financial planning and analysis, reporting and compliance, commercial analysis, deal support and day to day financial operations. The Department also plays an important role in managing the relationship between Nickelodeon UK, Comedy Central and its shareholders MTV Networks and BSkyB.
Its focus is to provide a high level of added value services to the business and shareholders with the provision of timely accurate and relevant information and to ensure that the necessary financial control is adhered to in order to safeguard the assets of the business.
Job Purpose:
Support Nick UK, Comedy Central & MTV finance functions in budget management, invoicing, intercompany and fielding finance queries from the businesses
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance to business departments, such as HR, Finance, Operations and Legal, on budget management & actual monthly reporting
• Provide ad hoc support for business departments on Travel & Expenses and vendor/customer setup queries
• Provide support to business to approve inter-company programming invoices
• Ancillary Billing – Prepare monthly manual invoices requests for non-system generated invoices
• Non-Purchase Orders – Code ad hoc invoices
• Monthly review of open purchase orders and goods receipts with analysis to clear
• Review annual inter-company charges and review invoices back to contracts
• Assist and support on ad-hoc finance team projects
