Finance Manager - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
International Cashflow Project
The International Cashflow Project is critical to the effort to improve cashflow reporting, forecasting and management across VIMN.
An opportunity has arisen for a 4-6 month secondment into the project team to support the initiatives underway. This is a great opportunity for exposure at the International level and getting involved with a project which will have significant impact across the organization.
Key activities:
• Review of monthly reported cashflows
- Build Longview templates for monthly cashflow reviews at region, cluster and consolidated level
- Review reported vs actual cashflows against P&L, and identify:
- Reporting issues
- Forecasting issues
- Work together with Cash Operations team to understand reporting problems and manual adjustments
• Deep dives on receivables and payables
- Assist with data collation and analysis, interpretation and translation into actions and areas for further focus
- Support work around building a suite of input tools available to FP&A teams to aid forecasting, and output metrics suitable for senior management to review and challenge, and identify areas for improving cash management
• Assist with developing insight into programming spend forecasting and rolling out solutions across VIMN
• Other adhoc project work relating to cashflow forecasting and management issues
There is some flexibility to adapt the role based on experience, development needs and personal objectives.
Key requirements
• Extraction, manipulation and analysis of Longview data in excel – should be able to independently build own Longview queries and tables
• Ability to interpret detailed financials, identify issues and summarise into succinct narrative
• Available to start during October
• Travel may be required
