COORDINATOR, DIGITAL MARKETING (PAID SOCIAL) COMEDY CENTRAL
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will produce and support social and digital media advertising campaigns for Comedy Central. This is a junior-level position created for an individual looking to grow his or her career in television marketing and an opportunity to contribute to the execution of paid advertising campaigns on key social/digital platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and more for all CC series including, The Daily Show w/Trevor Noah, South Park, Broad City and more!
The candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and have some experience in digital marketing and advertising; specifically in social media. Candidates must be very detail oriented and possess excellent communication, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills.
Please note that this role exclusively handles paid advertising on social platforms — This position is not related to community management or creation of content for organic posting on social feeds.
Responsibilities
• Assist with the execution Comedy Central’s media buys on key platforms (Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc)
• Monthly reporting and analysis of social campaigns across all platforms
• Managing the submission and delivery of creative requests for social ads, emails, and display units
• Maintain financial records on media spends
• Provide administrative support for the Brand Marketing team and assist in program launches and management if/when necessary
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or advertising
• At least 1 year of experience at a publisher, agency, or media brand preferred
• Proficient understanding of all social platforms - including emerging platforms
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage and analyze large sets of data
Additional Qualifications
• Experience working in digital advertising with experience in social media paid advertising on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other online video platforms preferred
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and efficient time-management skills
• Comfortable working with ever-changing software on various platforms
• Basic Photoshop skills preferred
• Love for comedy and pop culture
• Great sense of humor
