We specialize in nationwide touring family events such as Discover the Dinosaurs and Sesame Street Live and we also provide entertainment, promotion and event marketing services for the world's most respected brands and agencies.
We are seeking an entertainment professional who is a responsible team player with a good work ethic to join our Discover the Dinosaurs traveling exhibit. Discover the Dinosaurs, is an interactive exhibit that includes animatronic Dinosaurs and dinosaur replicas, plus offers other fun activities for kids including inflatable's, dinosaur rides, mini golf, face painting, and fossil mining.
We are looking for a FACE PAINTER (Full-Time): - Must be able to handle a fast paced environment while providing excellent guest service. Prior customer service experience is a plus and must be willing to travel full time.
As a member of our traveling team you're on a team that is responsible for installs of all materials for the show, props and scenery by performing duties in accordance with Management's direction and best practices. Assists in loading and unloading, assembling and disassembling of all show equipment, and conducts regular maintenance in an effort to preserve the high integrity and professionalism of the company and its equipment.
During the event you are responsible for customer service, safety, performance/entertainment and various duties according to management direction. This is a great opportunity to get touring experience with an exhibition-style show that plays in convention centers across the nation.
ESSENTIAL Job Functions
Perform face painting in an efficient meticulous manner
Can interact well with children and customers
Works well under pressure
Assembles and disassembles stage set and all equipment
Assists in loading and unloading; assembling and disassembling all equipment associated to the event.
Conducts regular cosmetic maintenance on all equipment related to event set.
Follows production guidelines in a manner that meets productions standards.
Complies with all safety and security procedures related to the show and VStar Entertainment Safety policies.
Accepts all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
Basic skills in scenic painting.
Ability to work as member of team; accept & follow oral, written, &/or diagram instructions.
Ability and desire to tour year-round.
Responsible for compliance with all safety and security procedures
Demonstrable customer service experience
Positive, enthusiastic and determined attitude
Pleasant, professional, outgoing and articulate manner and appearance
Manual labor is a part of the job, weekly
100% travel required, must be able to travel for extended periods of time, a minimum of 26 weeks or more at one time.
