Busy AV company seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform inspections and light repair of video rental equipment including but not limited to the support hardware designed to display the equipment. The primary focus will be on Video Display Monitors including LED, LCD and some plasma technology. This position will also require data entry into the VER proprietary software system documenting equipment damages and/or repair needs. Responsible for performing thorough quality control inspections and light repair of all Monitor and display hardware on a daily basis. Equipment to be consistently maintained to peak performance. Customer service skills are required as this position will also assist existing clients with technical support over the phone and in the field.
Must have a strong work ethic, technical expertise of various video equipment, general knowledge of the video production industry, willingness to learn, and ability to work long hours. Prior experience with plasma, LCD, broadcast monitors. Schedule will include late shift and weekends.
