Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting account executives and managers through all sales aspects. Position is divided between two departments. Candidate must provide the same level of service to both departments. Use Station's research knowledge to assist AEs with account management and strategy. Responsible for daily and weekly reports on business presented, expected and closed. Coordinator will work closely with the Creative Services Department in the processing of Production orders. In addition, Coordinator will organize and help execute station events. Coordinator will create event presentations and handle POP proposals. The Coordinator is responsible, in coordination with the AEs and managers for preparation for sales calls and presentations, maintaining paperwork organized and updated and to offer excellent customer service in line with Univision policies. Coordinator will provide sales marketing support to Vendor Program Director as well as Local Station Sales staff. Coordinator will make travel arrangements for the Vendor Department Director and submit corresponding expense reports. Provides administrative back-up support relating to entering sales contracts and other necessary duties. Participation at station sponsored events is also required.
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration
Education: College degree or equivalent work experience in a sales office.
Experience: Sales Assistant and Coordination experience preferred.
Basic Skills: Must be able to present research information and station proposals in a clear and concise manner. Applicants must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications; including Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. Background in digital sales and presentations a plus as well as the ability to create visually appealing sales proposals and digital banners. Coordinator must have the ability to work well under pressure in a revenue goal and deadline-driven environment. Self-motivated, proactive with a good attitude and the ability to work well with others.
Language Skills: Written and verbal fluency in both Spanish and English required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to drive, stand, walk and sit for up to 8 hours.
