Main purpose of role
Universal Music Group & Brands (UMGB) is the dedicated brand agency of Universal Music Group, creating innovative and tailor-made business solutions for brands. We use Music & Entertainment to create innovative and differentiated customer propositions for our brand partners to help them grow their business by their turning customers into fans.
We are currently looking for a Graphic Design intern to integrate into the UMGB Creative Team handling innovative concept proposals that support a company’s brand, marketing, product, or technological goals.
This candidate will primarily focus on supporting the Creative Director and Creative Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce state-of-the art PowerPoint pitch documents for the global sales teams.
• Assist the team to develop, present and effectively communicate a creative solution that will achieve a client’s goal.
• Create pitch specific artwork, mood boards and storyboards to bring creative solutions to life.
• Assist in creating UMGB global brand assets. Including website/newsletter artwork, social infographics, graphical content and print ready industry reports.
• Take part in brainstorming new and exciting ideas with various UMGB teams.
• Managing your time in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in the management of an internal ‘Best Practice’ creative portal.
Person Specification
Essential:
• Excellent creative suite applications skills using Mac – Photoshop/Illustrator/In-Design
• Excellent skills in MS Office – PowerPoint
• A design and creativity obsessive who has a portfolio filled with inspirational work
• A strong visual sense and ability to communicate ideas
• A keen eye for detail
• Good team-working skills
• A passion for and knowledge of music
• Ability to work under pressure and have a strong sense of initiative
• Flexible, friendly, committed and hungry for a real challenge
Desirable:
• Experience with After Effects and any other motion graphic tools.
• Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram)
