Job title: Finance Intern
Responsible to: Management Accountant
Department: Frontline Finance
Location of work: Kensington Village
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance & Accountancy or Business Studies Graduate or equivalent within the UK Frontline Finance team at Universal Music. The Frontline Finance team provide finance support to each of Universal Music’s key record labels; Virgin EMI, Island and Polydor.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
• Performing monthly reporting for all Frontline Labels
• Forecasting and budgets- assisting with forecasting and budgeting of Frontline labels and Capitol Records
• Assisting with queries on travel expenses across all labels working with our travel partner
• Responsible for processing employee expense claims
Person Specification
• Finance & Accountancy or Business Studies Graduate (graduated or due to graduate in 2017) or equivalent, looking to pursue a career in Finance
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Particularly Excel)
• Strong proven communication skills
• Good organisation of self and others
• Proactive approach
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexible with the ability to work in a fast paced team
• Some previous Finance work experience will be advantageous
