Description
The Director, Organization Development (OD) is a new position that provides an opportunity for a collaborative partner to guide the development of integrated talent management initiatives to support enterprise-wide, scalable solutions that build organizational capabilities. Consults with the HR team and business leaders to identify opportunities to build and implement appropriate solutions, including but not limited to employee engagement, talent reviews, leader development, high potential development, organization design, change management, and team effectiveness. Guides and coaches others to effectively facilitate change and organizational performance.
Job Functions:
• Work closely with the VP, Learning & Organization Development (LOD), HR team and business leaders to assess needs and solutions to leadership and organizational development needs
• Project manage talent management initiatives (e.g. talent reviews, identifying high potentials, mobility programs)
• Manage the individual development planning process for high potentials and emerging leaders
• Manage employee engagement survey projects (e.g. design, communication, data analysis and interpretation, action planning); provide consulting to HR Business Partners on all post-survey actions
• Design and manage scalable organization development projects to ensure alignment with business needs
• Design and deploy people development strategies, programs, tools, and processes that build sustainable talent-building capabilities
• Partner with the LOD team to implement Leadership Development, Management Development, Team Effectiveness, and Professional Development programs
• Actively seek to improve current organization development programs, practices and processes
• Facilitate management and leadership development programs as needed.
• Align recommended solutions to the organization’s business practices and culture
• Partner with business leaders and HR teams to build high performing teams; facilitate team interventions
• Support change management efforts; utilize tools to drive effective, sustained change
• Design and deliver learning requests that are not part of enterprise-wide programs
• Plans and leads short- and long-term planning for OD programs
• Develop key metrics to measure effectiveness of initiatives and programs
• Be an active thought partner and collaborate with the VP, LOD to further the vision of developing talent, fostering employee engagement, and building the capabilities needed to maintain our market position globally
Job Requirements:

• Proven success in driving change and influencing the adoption of new ideas

• Experience working as an internal consultant with strong consultative and diagnostic skills
• Excellent project planning and project management skills
• Team player with demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to manage and execute multiple deliverables simultaneously
• Proven success conceptualizing, developing, and managing scalable and engaging programs in a multi- brand, geographically diverse organization
• Practical knowledge of group dynamics, change management and organization behavior
• Skilled at assessing needs, presenting creative solutions, developing action plans, and executing results
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and external vendors across multiple disciplines to build and deliver innovative organization development solutions
• Demonstrated track record of career progression

Experience:
Essential
• At least 7 years of experience creating and implementing organizational development strategies in creative and multi-brand organizations that include the following areas: Engagement surveys, Talent reviews, Leadership development, Organization development, Change management, Assessment and metrics
• At least 5 years of experience designing and facilitating management and leadership solutions
• Experience coaching managers and skilled professionals, coaching certification a plus
Desired:
• At least 3 years of direct people management responsibility
• Experience working in music, media, video game, PR, advertising, tech, or film/TV/studio entertainment
• Experience managing an enterprise learning function
Education:
Education Requirements
• A graduate degree in organization development, industrial/organizational psychology, organization behaviour, communications, leadership development, or related area preferred
• Certification in at least two or more assessment/feedback instruments (e.g. DISC, MBTI, ECI, ILS, OCS, Firo-B, TKI, Social Styles, 360 assessments etc.).
• Skills Content Certification (e.g. DDI, PDI, Achieve Global) a plus
• SPHR or SHRM credentials; CPLP certification; or graduate certificate in Organization Development a plus
Other Requirements:
• Travel up to 25% (greater Los Angeles area, New York, Nashville, Philadelphia, Toronto)
