Full Time Job
We’re looking for a creative digital marketing manager with a passion for music, exceptional social media skills and solid experience in website content management. The successful candidate will work closely with our creative teams to promote UMPG and our incredible roster of music talent.
• Devising creative ways to make UMPG or writers and artists’ voices heard in the current digital landscape
• Working with writers, artists, management and labels on projects ranging from social media strategy to artist website development
• Responsible for all UK website content, keeping the site up to date, and devising new company or artist led initiatives online
• Managing UMPG social media channels, and artist/writer social media channels as required
• Training and supporting UMPG European territories on their website content and marketing initiatives
• Providing support and training on internal tools and systems for staff, worldwide
• Developing and managing systems for internal and external email marketing
• Working to develop the UMPG Songs music library
• Drawing up creative pitches for new artists and writers during the signing process
• Working with the Film & TV Sync team on the best way to represent our writers and artists in the current film and advertising market
• Responding to PR enquiries
• Other ad-hoc marketing activity as required
person specification
Essential
o Exceptional understanding and experience of digital marketing, website management and social media
o Creative copywriter, with experience in writing music-related content for websites and twitter
o Extensive prior use of Content Management Systems and web publishing tools
o Experienced in Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics, email marketing platforms
o Up to date and comprehensive awareness of the digital landscape, especially in relation to music and entertainment
Desirable
o Knowledge of the music industry and of music publishing
o Experience of Mailchimp
o Experience of Sitecore CMS
o Experience in B2B marketing
o Creative flair, interest in online design
