Description
Universal Music Group is looking for a highly motivated individual with an eye for detail along with a healthy mix of creative and technical know-how to join our team as a graphic arts production artist. This individual will work closely with the VP of Creative, Creative Directors and Art Directors to produce and execute numerous pieces of artwork for some of the world’s biggest artists.
Job Functions:
• Collaborate closely with art directors and designers on the production of items such as
• Instagram blasts, E-Cards, SnapChat filters, Assets for all digital platforms, social skins, etc.
• Invites for events and functions
• Posters and out-door Billboards
• Prepare final files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing
• Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready
• Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners
• Prepare images for online and mobile applications
• Catalog and reference art for future projects
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Portfolio Required
• Proficient in the creation of motion graphics and animation for use on social media, website, html emails, etc.
• Very organized with a close attention to detail
• “Second-nature” fluency within the digital space
• Able to deliver multiple assets on time in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong design sense required to ensure all assets are consistent with the established creative
• Passion for Music
Experience:
• Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Strong knowledge and understanding of web and social media design best practices
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree
