Job title: Associate Project Manager
Responsible to: Senior Project Manager
Department: Digital Consumer Solution, Digital Supply Chain

Main purpose of role

Operating in over 75 countries, UMG is a major actor in the expansion of the digital music market and works with over 670 online partners worldwide.
The Universal Music and Brands (UM&B) division provides tailor-made entertainment marketing solutions for brands for customer acquisition & retention. UM&B currently runs more than 350 major partnerships worldwide. The Digital Consumer Solutions team supports this division to enable their technical services.
Working with the UM&B central team based in London and the 3rd party suppliers, the key
responsibility of the Associate Project Manager is to set up and manage small and medium projects which will involve the following:
• Roll up of off-the-shelf solutions using the UMG music platform
• Work closely with the UM&B team to understand the client requirements and align them with the existing platform when appropriate, providing them with advice on the best user experience to follow.
• Provide support and identify suitable technical solution to respond to UMG Brand central team client proposals
• Set up of new services for projects the existing platform cannot support using external suppliers/service providers by working alongside the Senior Project Manager
• Plan, track and own project deliverables in accordance with UMG's expectations
• Liaise and manage 3rd party suppliers
• Document requirements and acceptance criterias
• Test and validate the solution including issue management (internal and external)
• Attend partner meetings
The Associate Project Manager will be required to have the following project management skills:
• Project Scoping
• Project planning
• Requirements Management
• Quality Assurance
• Risk Analysis and Management, Contingency planning
• Project Reporting
Person Specification
Essential
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience of end to end Project Management
• Good understanding of software development process and available technologies (with experience in either API, mobile or web development)
• A passionate interest in new technologies, digital and the entertainment industry
• Proactive with the ability to work within short timeframes under pressure
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt
Desirable
• Music industry experience preferable
• Knowledge of Agile/Waterfall
