Truffle Pig is looking for an innovative and experienced preditor to create compelling digital m content for our distinguished brand channels. We need someone who, not only has the creative and technical skills to write/produce/shoot and edit short form video projects, but someone who is also passionate about elevating a brand's image through creative and shareable online content.
This isn't a position for the faint of heart, we are a fast growing, entrepreneurial company built on the backs of doers. You must have strong attention to detail, an outgoing personality, and the ability to think on your feet. Candidate must be a self-starter, able to handle various elements of the production process, including field production, shooting, editing and directing. You will be asked to oversee multiple projects at once, in various stages, so being able to multitask is key.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has a strong storytelling sensibility.
Is excited to push the envelope of what digital video can do on social media platforms and in online environments.
Is interested in experimenting with new story formats and committed to finding new ways to approach the conventional forms of short-form storytelling.
Is ready to conceptualize, write, produce and edit creative, engaging short form videos and series that are appropriate to the Truffle Pig audience.
Is comfortable with periodically producing videos in the field including shooting/directing, dealing with talent and obtaining signed releases and clearances.
Is able to collaborate with different creative teams and departments.
Has a desire to embrace new experiences and to continue to learn more about your craft.
Experience integrating onscreen text and graphics and writing copy for different mediums.
Experiment with new formats of short-form storytelling, looking to ''push the envelope'' for what digital video can do on all platforms
A highly ambitious and creative person with an understanding of current and emerging trends in fashion and social media marketing
Locate resources and manage third party vendors as needed
Coordinate production schedules with subjects and crew, and coordinate in-field production as needed
Must have interest in all things technology
Qualifications:
At least three years' experience editing, writing, and/or producing, with at least one of those years specifically focused on digital.
Studio lighting (ability to set up lighting for small scale shoots)
Deep and demonstrated knowledge of current social media technologies and platforms.
Must have excellent knowledge of the video, audio, graphic & post-production process.
Experienced in Motion Graphics and Visual FX.
Must be proficient in After FX and Premiere Pro.
