SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE…
- Maintenance and adherence to business management related policies and procedure.
- Review and summarization of all Client agreements.
- Performance of Client Risk Assessment and Financial Planning.
- Oversight over day to day financial management performed by Tour Staff Accountants.
- Accountants: bill pay, revenue tracking commission reporting, client specific accounting and reporting.
- Review and approve quarterly financial statements.
- Review and deliver Weekly Client communications (cash reports, weekly updates).
- Review and approve the preparation of timely and accurate commissions, calculations & payments.
- Oversight and execution of assigned new client on-boarding procedures.
- Assess estate planning needs and gather resources to finalize an estate plan for review by the Controller, CFO or CEO.
- Coordination and processing of payroll services; oversight of associated journal entries and reconciliation of payroll reports to General Ledger.
- Review and oversight over 1099 reporting procedures.
- Oversight over tax work paper prep; liaison with Tax Manager to provide necessary data for the completion of all tax processes.
- Responsibility and oversight of Client relations and team.
- Review and approve workers comp audits.
- Training and development of Tour Staff Accountants.
- Prepare Client meeting paperwork.
- Review and approve banking wires and ACH's.
SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS...
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with strong academic record.
- Experience using QuickBooks and Excel.
- Active CPA License (preferably in TN or CA).
- Experience within a Business Management Firm and/or the entertainment industry where there would be good transferability of skills.
