Trancas International Films, Inc. (The ''Halloween'' Franchise, ''The Hatred'', ''The Message'' and other films) seeks reliable, enthusiastic interns who desire experience in the motion picture industry. Duties would include general office administration, working with the development team, reading scripts and providing coverage, assisting with media management, and other tasks. Qualified candidates will gain invaluable exposure to a professional production company's multi-faceted workflow. Interns will have the opportunity to not just learn the film development process, but also all the company's global operations in motion picture production and distribution, television, merchandising, and licensing among other areas. The ideal candidate is passionate about film, has strong writing and communication skills, and wants to learn about many different aspects of the film business.
Qualified candidates must be motivated, eager, ready to tackle any task or challenge, and be committed to learning quickly. Although there may be some flexibility with schedules, candidates would be expected to work two to three days per week. The internship is unpaid but we do offer course credit. Candidates must supply their own laptop and should have their own transportation.
