As part of Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles,Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz, is a non-profit institution dedicated to the promotion of art and culture in the Los Angeles area. It is the only theater in Los Angeles to dedicate a significant part of its programming to French language and culture.
This 220-seat Theatre welcomes multidisciplinary and multicultural shows: theater, music, dance, lectures, screenings. The programming evolves around a dual orientation of educational shows and shows linked to francophone and international culture.
Promoting event: marketing and communication, create communication supports (posters, flyers, programs...), write press release, target audience depending on the show, update social media and website, sale tickets, develop loyalty program...
Develop sponsorship and partnership and coordinate business arrangements.
This internship will provide you with real world, hands on event planning experience in a non-profit setting.
Must have an interest in the cultural field. Must be extremely organized and self sufficient. Have strong communication skills. Must be independent and team driven. Good knowledge in photoshop, inDesign, Imovie would be appreciated.
