Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Overseeing all experiential events at the DFM from a production standpoint
- Create and maintain internal and external budgets
- Create ROS's for internal and external event stakeholders
- Handle client management from a production standpoint; management of Client expectations is crucial
- Keep detailed spreadsheets and data always current
- Schedule and attend walkthroughs
- Events may fall on weekends- some work on weekends is required
- Provide thorough updates to the rest of the DFM team
- Lead all production efforts and delegate to Jr. Producer while closely and carefully overseeing efforts
- Leverage vendor relationships to maximize the reach of the production budgets
- Find creative solutions to budgetary concerns
- Create estimated budgets for proposals
- Advise on the feasibility of creative concepts from a production standpoint
- Report to senior management on progress and potential concerns early in the production process
Key Performance Indicators
- Ability to foresee potential complications
- Swift problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Overall organization of information
- Overall management and delegation of internal teams
- Quantitative accuracy
- Consistently coming in under or at budget
Qualifications, skills & experience
· Bachelor's Degree at 4 year University
· 4+ years work experience in Event Production required
· Strong industry contacts with vendors is required
· Must be detailed oriented and have excellent organizational skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills (internal/external)
· Must be able to perform under tight deadlines with precision and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize
· Able to creatively, strategically plan and implement events
· Strong understanding of all types of events
· Team player who thrives on collaboration
· Desire to work in a cultural epicenter
· Eager, motivated and organized
· Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal business hours in the event deadlines or projects
