Sr. Analyst, Content Strategy & Search (PH)
Work Force Technology is responsible for the strategy, implementation and support of the employee digital workforce experience for The Walt Disney Company. Overall, the department has responsibility for the Human Capital System of Record (SAP), Performance Management and Talent Planning Systems, Learning and Development Systems, Enterprise Portal / Connected Layer, Compensation Management Systems, Benefits Systems and Talent Acquisition Systems.
Responsibilities
• The Senior Analyst will review user analytics and anecdotal feedback to identify opportunities to improve and enhance the website Inside Disney, an internal portal supplying resources and information to help Disney Corporate employees do their jobs.
• Review and analyze web analytics, search logs, and other data regarding employee use of Inside Disney; recommend and implement changes
• Lead a consortium of stakeholders to ensure content is tagged in a consistent manner to ensure great search results across the Walt Disney Company. These stakeholders groups include, but are not limited to: Inside Disney ABC, D Tools HR, D Tools IT, other Segment portal sites.
• Partner with Employee Communications and the User Experience and Design functions within the HR Strategy Lab to understand employee behavior and needs related to Inside Disney and related services.
• Manages day-to-day interaction with Employee Communications team and Content Curator
• Own Adobe Analytics reporting and assist Employee Communications with usage
• Take direction from UX Lead and assist with employee research in order to make recommendations for change
• Interacts daily with the technology partner team to articulate our user stories, minor enhancements, support items that cannot be handled within the Content Management System
• Interacts daily and communicates effectively with Employee Communications to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
• Sets and manages customer expectations
• Continually seeks opportunities to increase satisfaction and deepen relationships
Basic Qualifications
• 3 years' experience implementing or supporting communications, portals, other employee facing digital experience tools
• 2 years of business analysis and/or technical writing experience
• 1 years of experience directly supporting a search engine based tool in a product management and/or business analysis capacity
• 1 years of experience analyzing web analytics, understanding trends and themes, and recommending website changes based on them.
• 1 years of experience writing user stories and/or technical requirements
• Experience with Web content management systems such as Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla
• Experience with Web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics
• Experience with Web and site search engines and SEO
• Experience managing enterprise search tools, including reviewing and interpreting search logs and recommending changes/enhancements
• Experience writing, editing, publishing, managing online internal communications content
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, and influencing skills
• Strong facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
• Successful history of client contact including experience in setting and managing client expectations
• Experience in producing thorough, detailed project documentation
• Self starter with high level of initiative; strong sense of ownership and urgency
• Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization including technical and non-technical people and internal and external audiences
• Must be able to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in fast-paced environment
• Extraordinarily detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Disney work experience
• Knowledge of software development life cycles, Web technologies, Web development and design processes
• Previous development or Web production experience
• Experience in user experience/user interface/usability design, requirements, best practices
• Experience with enterprise technology service design and management
• Experience in a complex, large-company environment
• Comfortable learning and using a variety of processes and technical tools to get things done
• Project management certification
• Business analysis certification
• Technical writing certification
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent work experience
