The Walt Disney Studios encompasses the creation, production, promotion, sales, acquisition and domestic and international distribution of live-action and animated motion pictures, home entertainment releases, live stage plays, and music and soundtrack recordings.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Planning and Administration Analyst in Burbank, CA.
Highly detail oriented and organized individual with strong written and verbal communication skills needed to support the high volume output of syndication agreements.
Responsibilities
• Draft template agreements, amendments, including but not limited to Syndex , Transfer of Ownership letters, and riders.
• Modify/redline customized station group templates and Standard Terms and Conditions as negotiated by client and legal team.
• Review and modify syndication contracts from sales administration team.
• Oversee each stage of the contract process to ensure timely and accurate execution; track and manage contract lifecycle including renewal or termination.
• Research agreements to verify contractual terms for Distribution.
• Create, distribute, and follow up on monthly option reports for all in-window syndication agreements.
• Respond to audit/litigation requests.
• Manage all post-sale syndication activities, with heavy internal and external interaction, both verbal and written, with the Client, Sales, Finance, Distribution, and IT.
• Provide senior level deal analysis to Sales (e.g. market price, historical sales, competitive data, etc.)
• Develop and implement needed processes and templates to create efficiencies.
• Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for interaction with legal team and sales staff.
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize. Excellent time management skills.
• Team player with the ability to multi-task doing analytical, detail-oriented, high volume work, in support of multiple teams
• Excellent computer skills required – MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, database systems.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in contract administration
• Previous experience at a Studio or Network handling contracts/deals
• Previous experience extracting important data from contracts/deals and analyzing data when needed
Required Education
• Bachelor Degree, Paralegal Certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience including experience in a legal environment
