Operations Support Coordinator (Golden Oak Ranch)

The coordinator (supporting production and operations for Golden Oak Ranch) will be responsible for ''hands on'' managing production companies while they are on the property, managing production scouts, interfacing with the location and productions managers, and insuring that productions run smoothly and their needs are met. This position will also support the ranch including field work and agriculture aspects in all weather conditions. This position is located in Newhall/Santa Clarita, CA.
Responsibilities
• Day to day management of film crews
• Managing production scouting
• Oversee prep, shoot and strike operation with production companies
• Ensure crew comply with Ranch policies
• Coordinating various productions crew with Ranch Operations
• Some contracting
• Office and conference center maintenance (vacuuming etc)
• Answer phones
• Assist as Production Administrator as required
• Conduct some tours
• Complete crew production sheets
• Hours of usage
• Damage charges
• Clean up
• Misc.
• Monitor sets for maintenance
• Work off hours and weekends as required to manage production
• Pick ups and deliveries as required
• Take frequent photos related to Ranch
• Participate in daily briefings
• Assistance in Ranch operations
• Road maintenance
• Farming
• Irrigation
• Light construction
• Vehicle and structure maintenance
• Disaster/Crisis response and preparedness
• Wildlife monitoring
• Planting
Basic Qualifications
• Proficient with Microsoft office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer
• General Admin skills - phone, calendar, etc.
• Typing 60 WPM or better
• General Skills
• Detail oriented
• Self managing
• Proactive
• Good communications skills
• Strategic thinking
• Ability to multitask under pressure
• Flexible hours - position may work weekends/holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Valid CDL
Experience working in the field or on a ranch
Required Education
Associates degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Education
BS/BA preferred
