Content Specialist (Part time)

Prologue
As a variable member of our team, you will make an impact through your creative content production and writing skills, passion for social media and experience in developing content marketing strategies. This is a unique opportunity to join the Disney family in freelance type of role that combines flexibility with team collaboration. This role is similar to a freelance role, working 5-30 hours a week, flexing as the business needs dictate.
Responsibilities
Chapter 1: Bringing Our Employment Stories to Life (Day-to-Day Foundational Work)
• Lead, develop & execute communication strategies & projects to support the talent acquisition function. These communications initiatives could be in support of diversity recruitment, in-person or virtual events, CRM or other general marketing initiatives.
• Work in partnership with the creative team in developing creative campaigns to support talent acquisition throughout TWDC globally. Communications support could range from basic day-to-day advertising to large branding campaigns to developing content for social media. Campaigns should share what the magic of working with Disney is really like by pulling back the curtain to showcase our culture, environment, work and overall opportunities.
• Execute on content updates within our career portal, blogs or other identified content playlists.
As needed, you may:
• Help support editorial calendars for multiple social platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and instagram.
• Collaborate with content providers ensuring all member comments and questions are moderated in a timely manner.
• Build communication and social media strategies in support of recruitment needs.
• Work at various Disney office locations gathering and developing content including, but not limited to, Photography, Video, GIFs and Employee Interviews.

• - You possess the talent to write in varying tones, voices and styles in order to meet the appetite of our diverse audience
• You have a passion for, and experience in, developing content optimized for social media with photography, video and light design skills
• You can focus on the here and now while keeping a keen eye to the future and the organizational capability to manage it all
• You are passionate and knowledgeable about social media channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram with a strong desire to continue learning in order to stay on top of trends and emerging platforms
• You thrive on building new relationships and carefully fostering existing ones
• You are looking for a role with flexible hours that could range anywhere from 5-30hrs per week, and vary depending on business needs.

Required Education
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English or relevant experience in community building and campaign execution via web sites, email, and social media channels
