Full Time Job
This job holder will be an expert on the complexities and localization challenges of their title and work with strategic vendors to produce, on-time, right-first-time masters (DVD, BD, UHD). In addition, this job holder will need to propose solutions to issues and roadblocks that occur during production. Job holder is expected to function autonomously and be an expert in the complexities and challenges of their queue. Work responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, asset management, issuing Purchase Orders, negotiating milestone dates with strategic vendors, analyzing research to determine the best work plan, propose solutions to issues that arise during production, reconciling vendor invoices, tracking progress of all assigned titles, updating schedules, maintaining online files and consistently updating/issue all required documentation, performing title and asset research, and keeping and reporting on KPI metrics. While maintaining and improving existing methods and systems, the job holder will also deal with the day-to-day dynamics of production timelines and provide information to Management for action when required. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of an assigned work queue, including attending and running meetings to ensure the title remains on track.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the production process for their title from the planning stage to quality assurance, including management of assets.
• Manage and meet milestones for mastering, reference supply and production dates in schedule.
• Proactively establish strong working relationships with the client business units.
• Prepare and communicate production status to manager
• Collaborate with peers and staff to solve the complexities and challenges of the home video work queue.
• Perform title research for new and catalog titles.
• Perform asset research for new and catalog titles.
• Take on an array of production and library asset related special projects.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast pace environment.
• Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times.
• Collaborates well as a team member as well as having the ability to work independently.
Operational/Financial Excellence
• Maintain effective communication with supervisor

• Ensure delays/concerns are brought to senior management attention early
• Consider possible solutions when identifying problems
• Perform timely reviews of cost estimates and invoices for accuracy
• Justify vendor charges that are over or under budget
• Keep and report monthly on select KPI Metrics

Title & Asset Research
• Captures pertinent info on current production and library titles for potential future or downstream releases
• Performs asset research on new release and catalog titles
Basic Qualifications
• Experience with production in either or all of a creative environment, manufacturing environment, or product development environment
• Experience in a planning or scheduling function in either or all of a creative environment, manufacturing environment, or product development environment
• High-level of computer applications competency (e.g. Microsoft Office)
Preferred Qualifications
• post production asset management experience
• expertise with digital post production workflows
• quality control and quality management expertise
• Bachelors level in a relevant subject or the equivalent in a working environment
• Experience in film, audio, and video post-production
• Experience in subtitle localization for media
