Part Time Unpaid Internship
Organize, collect and consolidate writer/publisher and master ownership information, and populate information into Filemaker
Reach out to labels and artist managers for any missing information
Test and suggest improvements to our custom Filemaker software system
Ingesting music and organizing music assets an ongoing basis, in terms of -
Wrangling music assets from artists and labels including hi res files, instrumentals, acapellas, stems, lyrics etc as needed.
Tagging music metadata with keywords to ease search process.
Creating themed playlists to highlight certain catalogs and/or artists
Reviewing music briefs sent from music supervisors
Keeping on top of our new releases weekly
New TV programs, films in production, as well as various new content platforms (Who is music supervising? What kind of music is utilized?)
New & upcoming artists that align with the company
Viable Candidates Possess:
Attention to detail.
Ability to learn new software quickly (Filemaker will play a large role in this internship)
Strong interest in music licensing and supervision
Enrollment in a music business college program is a plus
Prior knowledge of music publishing, PRO's, and music copyright law, a plus
