Tastemade is looking for a passionate and very competent Customer Service Representative to join a dynamic team of enthusiastic entrepreneurs in building Tastemade's rapidly growing eCommerce business. We are looking for individuals who appreciate a challenging, fast-paced work environment, are willing to learn, and are eager to become an important part of our team.
The Customer Service Representative is a critical part of our mission to deliver timely, accurate and professional customer care to all Tastemade customers. This position requires an action-oriented, flexible problem-solver who will resolve customer inquiries surrounding sales, products, orders and the site. The Customer Service Representative will communicate with customers through a variety of communication channels. This position interacts daily with our fulfillment center, but also works with merchandising and other departments to ensure a delightful shopping experience for all Tastemade customers.
What you'll do:
• Provide exceptional service to customers via multiple communication Channels
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Tastemade site and products
• Maintain professional composure when dealing with escalated issues
• Assist in implementing customer service policies and procedures to ensure consistent
customer satisfaction, always doing the right thing for both our customers and our
business
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve customer issues
and improve customer service
• Exercise judgment in the examination, interpretation, and resolution of problems
• Empathize with and prioritize customer needs
• Analyze, summarize, and present customer feedback to team members and
management in order to continuously improve the shopping experience
What you'll bring:
• 1 years of experience in customer service
• Customer service experience in a retail or ecommerce business a plus
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and prioritization
skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; professional phone etiquette
• Professional, upbeat and able to advise in a friendly manner
• Problem-solving skills, as applied to resolving day-to- day customer issues and tackling
new problems and challenges
• Proven track record of exercising strong customer service skills, including conflict
resolution and negotiating skills
• Proficiency with customer service ticket systems, such as Zendesk and Desk
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated computer proficiency including email, web applications and contact
management software, Excel, Word, Outlook and database systems
• Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally
• Demonstrated positive work attitude & leadership skills
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
