About the program:
Studio71's internship program is designed to complement academic programs with practical experience in media and entertainment. Through the program, students will gain real-world experience developing and launching an online brand, pair with a mentor to follow to an individualized learning plan, and attend weekly seminars taught by industry executives. This is an opportunity FOR STUDENTS to build a network and get a jumpstart on your career.
Program details:
- 10-12 weeks
- 16 hours per week (Interns must have a consistent schedule)
- Weekly 1-hour seminars taught by industry executives
- Homework assignments
- YouTube Creator Academy
- Group Projects to design and launch an online digital brand from scratch
- Individualized learning plans designed to align with the intern's field of study
- Structured performance review and feedback at the end of the program
- Less than 10% of time spent on unskilled tasks

Application deadline: December 1, 2017
Program dates: January 16 - May 11

Week 2: Digital Rights
Week 3: Optimization
Week 4: Talent Management
Week 5: Media Sales and Brand Solutions
Week 6: Special Project
Week 7: Creative Development
Week 8: President/CEO
Week 9: Business Strategy and Development
Week 10: Distribution
Departments participating:
Scripted Development, Unscripted Development, Business Development, Distribution, Design, Human Resources, Digital Talent Management, Merchandising, Influencer Marketing
Qualifications:
- Interns must be actively enrolled at an accredited university or learning institution and must be eligible to receive school credit through the program
- Interns must have a 3.0 or above to participate
- We suggest 15-20 hours per week to get the most from the program
