Job Description:
This position is responsible for overseeing daily merchandising duties for their assigned analysts and workload to ensure that timely & correct information is disseminated to all merchandising partners. The Manager will also take responsibility for cross-department analysis and will spend time with analysts to spot department wide trends and issues, along with working on issue resolution. The Manager will work with the Assistant Manager to ensure that the department works cohesively as a unit with standardized timelines and contribute to a fair share of work load. Additionally, the Manager will prepare monthly billing and reconciliations along with managing the monthly cost per unit report that is sent to senior management. Manager will also liaise with merchandising companies to create efficiencies for all areas.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 4-6 years experience in retail merchandising. Minimum of 3 years Home Entertainment merchandising experience. 3 years managerial experience multiple direct reports. Knowledge of: Home Entertainment or Merchandising industry; Supply Chain process, especially in-transit logistics/Retail Store Operations; Mass Merchant/Grocery/Drug Store accounts. Must be able to develop and implement merchandising initiatives in a team environment while adhering to projected budget. Implement change based on analysis on past merchandising events. Direct and communicate effectively in a team environment. Deliver written and oral presentations to all levels of management and partners. Must have exceptional follow-through and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment. Professional individual who can build strong relationships with all levels of employees as well as outside vendors. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; presentation skills; proofreading skills. MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) proficiency required. College Degree Preferred.
