Responsibilities:
· Perform statistical analytics of upcoming artists to evaluate their potential earning power
· Create predictive sales model
o Predict artists/songwriter sales performance
o Identify and prioritize input variables, e.g. radio play, sales, streaming, listens, etc.
· Determine data sources, develop data-collection methods, and manage ongoing data collection
· Create and maintain central data warehouse
· Perform other related analytic and general tasks as needed
· Help develop new ways to evaluate unsigned talent via data collection (radio, sales, YouTube, Sound cloud, Spotify, etc.)
Qualifications:
· Must Love Music! Music industry experience a plus, but not required
· Minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional environment
· Background - professional and/or educational - in modeling, statistics, and related concepts
· Ability to present complex ideas in a simplified and direct manner
· Experience in quantitative analysis
· Proficiency modeling in Microsoft Excel and basic statistical software (e.g. Crystal Ball, Minitab)
o Familiarity with advanced stats and computer programming packages a plus
· Computer programming/ computer learning background a bonus
· Goal-oriented self-starter
· Ability to work full time in midtown Manhattan offices
