Sr. Manager, Strategic Planning and Studio Management
Who we're looking for:
If you're passionate about the business side of entertainment, modeling and negotiating deals, valuing content through deep data analysis, building relationships with clients and the desire to work cross-functionally across business units to drive revenue and strategy, we're all ears.
What you'll do:
You'll maximize the value of both current and library Crackle Originals by ensuring each title's business success, striking innovative deals, and financial tracking. Effectively greenlight original productions, licensed acquisitions, and co-productions by leveraging analytics and building distribution relationships. You'll be instrumental in growing the content slate by effectively managing windows and commitments across various distribution channels, including international, domestic, and home entertainment. You'll directly oversee and lead the realization of studio content, modeling financial scenarios for original productions, licensed acquisitions, and co-productions and. You will track and maximize profit through the management of both revenue and expense across Crackle's Feature Film and TV series through the content's windowing lifecycle, with a focus on four main areas– Greenlighting, Financial Planning, Sales Strategy, and Business Development.
Through Greenlighting you'll model financial scenarios for TV and Movies. You'll also provide insights during licensing negotiations to ensure that financial and strategic goals are achievable.
Through Financial Planning you'll support annual/quarterly forecast processes, conduct historical data analysis, prepare P&L flows for distribution to product owners, prepare cash flow and balance sheets, support the quarterly ultimate review process, prepare review schedules, data collection and analysis, and proposal of ultimate changes. You'll prepare and validate financial schedules for the Greenlight process for film and television, prepare monthly new release P&L for accrual and forecast purposes, update KPI analyses and prepare performance reports on a monthly basis, and consolidate key domestic and international budget/forecast schedules to create a worldwide view for corporate and senior management.
Through Sales Strategy you'll support distribution efforts to grow revenue and profit for both current and library series, you'll create pitch documents for new shows and work with the sales and marketing teams on positioning to facilitate sales, work across product fulfillment, sales and marketing on delivery and materials, and interact with divisions and sales teams to maximize Crackle original revenue while minimizing release costs.
And through Business Development you'll maximize the value of the library once in market by finding new revenue channels (merchandise, naming rights, content focused partnerships, etc.), and develop relationships with local distribution and sales team to find opportunities and new business models.
You'll also: You will interact and oversee multiple areas of business which each content title touches, finance, legal, business affairs, operations, sales and executive management, which will position you as an essential presence within the network and a valuable component of its ongoing success. You'll be a strong leader, and your ability to quickly maneuver through and analyze relevant sales systems and data will hold the key to creating reports that will support product information, and will directly impact major decision making. And you may even have the opportunity to do some traveling.

What you'll bring to the table:
• Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in Strategic Planning and/or Finance
• Bachelor's degree (MBA/Advanced degree or international experience a huge plus)
• Innovative and creative thinking- the ability to think strategically and act tactically- to ''see the big picture.''
• A solution-oriented mindset and ability to propose creative solutions to problems.
• Proven ability to establish relationships with cross-functional peers.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and presentation skills.
