Graduate Business Intelligence PAS Intern, Corporate – Spring 2018
OVERVIEW:
The Production Application Systems (PAS) team is responsible for supporting all IT applications and initiatives in the production process from Creative through Post Production. Included in that is the Business Intelligence analysis and reporting needs of the Executive users.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The intern will do Business Intelligence Analysis to support the ongoing initiative to:
• Establish a BI infrastructure for our key business stakeholders: MP Production Finance, MP Business Affairs, MP Finance
• Create Data Visualizations to fulfill the needs of the business users
• Train users on utilizing BI and Data Visualization tools and foster an understanding of the efficiencies and enhanced analysis these tools provide for their core operations in order to continually expand its use.
The intern will learn:
• Gain experience learning and using Tableau, Alteryx, in the delivery of Data Visualizations
• Analyze, clean and prepare data for use by the data visualization tool
• Create materialized views for optimized performance of data visualizations
• Create algorithms for predicative analytics
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Enrollment in an accredited college/university for the duration of the internship
• Currently pursuing a Master's or MBA in Computer Science, Data Analytics/Informatics and/or Business Administration
• Experience with Algorithm Design, Statistical Data Analysis, Data Mining, and Database Management
• Experience using R, PL/SQL

This Spring internship is from Tuesday, January 9th or Wednesday, January 17th through May 4, 2018. All candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours a week with respect to their school schedule and be enrolled in an accredited degree program for the entire duration of their internship.
