Coordinator, Shopper Marketing
As the Marketing Coordinator, you will collaborate with internal and external teams on flawless retail marketing execution of the movie & TV brands across multiple commercial channels. You will work with the various cross-functional marketing teams to create, traffic and organize creative and marketing assets for placement on partner websites, in-store materials, product packaging, and more. This role also coordinates with cross functional teams on channel and account-specific promotions, insights/research, and manages client and internal meetings. You must be extremely organized, an effective communicator, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You must be motivated, disciplined and able to work effectively autonomously. The ideal candidate has experience in project management and/or marketing, consumer insights, CPG, retail or has worked at an entertainment company.
Responsibilities:
• Organize incoming customer requests for marketing & creative assets
• Work with internal stakeholders on gathering project assets, materials and data.
• Collaborate on the creation of marketing presentations for customer meetings
• Manage, track and communicate internal and competitive release retail activity.
• Manage outside promotional agencies for the department (i.e. complimentary movie ticket program, screenings and other customer programs)
• Provide input and participate in ideation on how to innovate at retail touch points with the end consumer
Qualifications
/ Skills:
• Would be nice: Previous Entertainment or Home Entertainment experience
• Excellent project management skills, with extreme attention to detail
• Ability to act autonomously
• Collaborative worker able to align closely with several different internal teams and external customers and agencies
• Organization and follow through; excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
• Manage timelines including launch dates, internal/external meeting dates and asset delivery dates
• Consumer focused with an ability to understand consumer behavior in multiple retail environments
• Critical thinking / analytical mindset with an ability to support the director / manager on special projects (such as post mortem analysis)
• Strong relationship management skills
• Strong ability to ideate and brainstorm
• Knowledge of online media, social networking platforms.
• Knowledge of/familiarity with media landscape and major North American retail
• Fast, fluid and flexible – ability to excel in an environment where needs and priorities evolve quickly
• Advanced proficiency Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum of 3 years of agency, CPG or retail experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree
