Position Summary:
Excellent opportunity for someone looking to work within the HR Payroll environment. This position will be primarily focused on workflow approval of payroll processing and providing payroll related support to Employees and Business Partners. The Payroll Coordinator will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information for balancing.

Responsibilities
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides payroll support to US regional business sites in accordance with established service level agreements and quality guidelines.
• Updates system payroll data, establishes authorized incomes and deductions, maintains direct deposit information, and updates local, state, and federal tax withholding deductions.
• Prepares standard and ad-hoc reports for distribution as well as processes approved incentives, separation pay and short-term disability payments.
• Maintain accurate payroll records for internal balancing and auditing procedures to reduce the possibility of payroll error and company liability.
• Resolves basic employee questions related to payroll.
• Manages workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
• Reconciles payroll prior to transmission and validates confirmed reports
• Understands proper taxation of employer paid benefits
• Processes correct garnishment calculations and compliance
• Executes time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
Qualifications

• Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel
• Experience working within companies of greater than 1,000 employees at the enterprise level.
• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of payroll experience preferred; a combination of equivalent experience and education will be considered.
• Working knowledge Ultipro (Ultimate Software) preferred.
