The Income Tracking Manager will have the following responsibilities:
•Collaborate with staff to meet departmental expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment through mentoring and performance management
•Oversee U.S. Income Tracking functions as it relates to physical, digital, and streaming mechanical revenue and generate analysis reporting to high level management based on findings
•Manage license tracking and royalty collection efforts across multiple income type groups, including, but not limited to, mechanical, performance, digital media, and synchronization
•Work in conjunction with departmental performing rights analyst to ensure accurate reporting from PROs
•Work with staff to manage pending collection inquiries and preparation of cyclical departmental reports
•Review data that includes financial receipts and activity reports, to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness
•Evaluate, plan, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, and output
•Assist with ad hoc requests/projects
A qualified candidate must possess the following skills:
•Exceptional interpersonal relationship building
•Demonstrated ability to lead and foster teamwork and unity within a department
•Outstanding employee coaching and development skills
•Deep understanding of copyright economics and industry standard accounting principles and practices
•Highly organized and detail oriented
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent analytical ability
•Advanced proficiency of various computer applications such as MS Excel and MS Access, with the ability to quickly learn programs that work with large volumes of data
•Proven collections track record
•Minimum 5 years mechanical licensing, income tracking, and/or other related experience required
