Social Park is a Los Angeles based full-service influencer marketing and social media management company, specializing in influencer first video content and distribution.
We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales to leverage high level relationships and become a champion of our services and offering. Based out of Los Angeles, the ideal candidate will have a desire to learn about our services, sales positioning and approach, and work collaboratively with our operations team.
Here's what you'll be doing:
This role will be involved in the creation, packaging and selling of breakthrough branded content & influencer activations. The Director of Sales will work with teams across sales, strategy, creative and media to respond to RFPs from prospective clients with breakthrough media solutions that deliver on brand objectives. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a rapidly growing team in an incredibly important role. If you have experience in integrated marketing for a media company or publisher, are extremely organized, have a high quality standard and love social media, this is the right role for you.
Our Director of Sales will be focused on expanding our regional presence and bringing our offering to a growing book of leading agencies and Fortune 1000 brands. You will leverage personal relationships, product knowledge, and best practices to clearly communicate the differentiators of our offering in the market. You'll work directly with our CEO, becoming an integral part of the sales team that will lead us into our next stage of growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive the sales cycle: effectively conduct needs analysis, succinctly communicate Social Park's vision in the market, and proactively negotiate deals to close.
Collect insights into a client's organizational structure, online and offline marketing strategy, and ideal demographic.
Participate in weekly meetings, sales trainings, and 1:1s
Identify market opportunities, process improvements, and facilitate market feedback
Closely track internal KPIs, be mindful of team objectives and key results, and follow best practices for automated performance reporting
Here's what we'd like to see:
5-10 years of sales experience
You have have previously engaged with leaders at agencies and Fortune 1000 companies
Proven record of exceeding quarterly objectives and attention to key metrics
Bonus points if:
Experience at a marketing-tech or media start-up
You're passionate about social media and/or influencer marketing
