Full Time Paid Internship
The intern will:
- Assist in compiling weekly, monthly and ad-hoc SHO.com reports, including Order page specific, weekly performance reports and monthly SEO reports
- Develop Tableau dashboards using merged data sets of external/internal campaign data and Master Viewers Table/Churn model
- Manage SEO search query data classification
- Small project on a specific deep dive analysis to be determined
- SHO.com analytics implementation
- Adobe Analytics: learn how to use Workspace to pull SHO.com data
- Adobe DTM: learn about third party tags through tag management
- Tableau: learn how to use the tool and build dashboards using new data sets
- SHO.com internal tools: i.e. Sage meta data
- Optimizely: learn how to use the tool to pull A/B test results
- Salesforce: learn how to pull general email metrics
- Google Webmaster Tools: learn about SEO in order to classify search queries
- Develop expertise on SHO.com site/analytics implementation as well as main tools used (Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Google Webmaster tools, Optimizely)
- Assist in the development of weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports (includes order reports, weekly performance and SEO queries)
- Become familiar with Tableau and new data sets (i.e. Master Viewer's Table) in order to develop dashboards to analyze external/internal campaign performance
- Manage and improve Sage campaign metadata across digital media and other teams
- Assist in pulling A/B test results and analyzing performance using Omniture and Optimizely
- Manage SEO query data classification (categorizing Google search queries)
- Assist in larger email analyses depending on available data (i.e. churn model and Ad Studio analyses)
Qualifications:
Required:
• Current undergraduate student (rising junior or senior)
• Strong interest in Cable/Entertainment Industry
• 2.50 GPA or above
• Submission of a cover letter - required
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work at least 35 hours/week for 8 weeks from 6/11-8/3
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work and prioritize work assignments
• Able to provide administrative support as needed
Preferred:
• Cable television experience a plus
• Active participation in extracurricular activities; clubs; and/or associations. Leadership positions while maintaining an above-average GPA, a plus
• Prior internship experience in a related field, a plus
• Passion for entertainment and interest in advertising
**Experience with Adobe Analytics, Tableau or Google Search a plus
