Your Opportunity
• Conceive, write, and produce multiple creative solutions that meet advertisers' goals, while also driving ratings for Travel Channel and GAC programming.
• Directly oversee and manage completion of long and short form content for on air as well as pitch new show-related sponsored short form opportunities.
• Concept and write innovative comprehensive proposals.
• Partner closely with our friends in Ad Sales and Ad Sales Marketing as well as Digital, Network Programming and Business Affairs
• Oversee projects of third party production companies
• Represent network programming on shoots with on-air talent
• Screen and compile materials for edits as well as oversee edit sessions, graphic execution and music/sound design
• Direct and supervise voice-over sessions
• Assist in the ordering and tracking of all advertiser supplied product for integrations.
• Work closely with our digital content team on cross-platform projects.
• Assist on other Scripps Networks brands when necessary.
You
• You have 5 years' experience in television production; Bachelor's Degree in broadcast, journalism or related field preferred
• You have proven experience in product integration or crafting compelling sponsored messaging for various platforms.
• You shine with a 'can do' positive attitude and love collaborating with multiple partners
• You aren't afraid to explore new ways of thinking and have a creative solutions-type mindset
• You understand current post-production tools and processes and know your way around an edit bay
• You are a self-starter and strong teammate who can work independently and responsibly.
• You monitor timelines and adjust work as needed to achieve incredible success.
• You are a strong spoken/written communicator with the ability to develop creative, clear, and concise storytelling for a variety of audiences
• You have excellent organizational and time management skills and rock at managing multiple assignments at once.
• You can negotiate, strategize and coordinate people and processes.
• You're knowledgeable about Travel Channel programming
