WHO WE ARE
The Stephanie Miller Show is a nationally syndicated progressive talk radio program that airs on Sirius XM. We have six million listeners weekly. We are in need of a web designer to overhaul and give an update, modern, bright design to our radio show website. It's a WordPress site, so you MUST be well-versed. Please read the qualifications below.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design and have superior user interface design skills and a minimum of 3+ years experience. We are looking for a well-rounded Web Designer who can deliver fresh, novel ideas from both a marketing and feature perspective. This individual should be self-motivated and highly organized.
- Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualizing original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ Years creating websites & utilizing Wordpress
- Proficiency in WordPress is a MUST
- Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
- A solid portfolio that shows you have an established standard of excellence in the practice of website creation
- Positive and team-oriented attitude
- Great communication skills
This is a contract position with flexible hours, ok to work remotely. Salary is based on experience.
