We are looking for candidates who are adept at time management, able to exercise good judgment, and work well juggling multiple tasks under pressure.
The Production Coordinator will oversee the scheduling and completion of work assigned to SDI USA's subtitling resources. This position schedules work for the Production Team to expedite subtitle creation by performing essential duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the below.
Please note: this is not a film-production role, but one that is geared more towards administrative duties.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain and create language-team schedules and establish priorities for resources
Communicate and coordinate subtitling-production tasks for new and ongoing projects, to ensure delivery requirements and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame
Revise assignments and schedules when needed in order to accommodate shifting priorities
Communicate with department supervisors to determine workflows, progress of work and to provide information on items affecting efficiency and quality
Spearhead special projects as assigned by supervisor
Analyze and resolve challenges as issues arise
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Perform other related duties, as assigned
Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
Must be able to demonstrate:
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft programs & database experience a plus)
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
Ability to work 40 (or more) hours per week to fulfill position responsibilities
