SDI Media is currently seeking an Account Director for our Client Operations Department. The Account Director oversees a team of Account Managers that are charged with making sure that client needs are anticipated and met ensuring the highest level of satisfaction. This role acts as an advocate for the client needs through every step of the production process. This includes ensuring client expectations are met on a daily basis - liaising with the VP of Operations to define, plan and execute projects. The Account Director will take an active role in understanding the revenue associated with a client and will work with senior management on determining monthly projections, gross margin analysis and business development.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Acts as client advocate within SDI
Works with VP of Operations to establish and define requirements and develop close, strong relationships with Executive level studio contacts
Writes and updates client protocol for Production, Finance, Tech and Media Services etc.
Effectively communicates client needs to internal departments and external vendors
Directs all new projects for clients - from bidding through completion
Oversees all client projects within SDI - across all services including Subtitling, Dubbing, Media Services, Translation, etc., and across all channels including Home Entertainment, New Media, Corporate, Games, etc.
Directs account teams as to priorities and protocols
Coordinates, delegates and assigns work to various departments and account reps as necessary
Troubleshoots on behalf of client - ensuring protocols and processes are strictly adhered to
Produces monthly projections for internal executives
Reviews productivity and gross margin analysis with VP of Operations bi-monthly
Creates and maintains client org charts
Maintains pricing grids
Works with sales to bid new jobs
Orchestrates and participates in client events with Account Managers and Representatives
Approve hours for team Account Representatives; manage team overtime
Measure profitability of Business Segment, Clients, and Projects
Perform general administration duties as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience
Advanced degree or 3-4 years of comparable experience in a client and/or customer driven position.

Ability to effectively manage client relationships
Ability to lead, coach and to gain the trust of a team
Supervisory experience required overseeing staff, department functions and processes
