Administrative Coordinator (Residual Claims)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists/relieves Management and Business Representatives of administrative duties, including intake, screening, and routing of calls, preparing claims letters for mailing, and general research on potential claims.
• Answer basic residuals questions via telephone to include, informing performers of when residuals are due, how residuals become due, how residuals are paid, and if residuals payments are delinquent.
• In taking information regarding discrepancies in payment amounts and submitting inquiries/claims for delinquent residuals.
• Direct calls as necessary to other departments such as Residuals Processing, Trusts/Estates.
• Works with Theatrical/TV and New Media departments to request copies of promulgated agreements, and research possible claims and/or inquiries.
• Request individual contract information and pay information from performers to file claims and/or inquiries.
• Format and complete claim letters for representatives.
• Prepare completed claims for scanning into Documentum per Omniform.
• Receive and distribute regular mail to representatives and supervisors as needed.
• Assist workflow coordinator with the overflow of basic email questions sent to Residuals Mail.
• Record and log all claim checks and schedules received for processing.
• Assists and is responsible for generating and updating logs which are used for tracking data such as when checks are received, sent to processing and other relevant data.
• General administrative duties (faxing, typing, mailing, distributing and organizing folders)
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrate effective skills in the use of PC applications.
• Able to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines.
• Must be courteous with good interpersonal skills.
• Must be organized and able to multi-task.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both in verbal and written form.
• Detail oriented.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor.
• Superlative interpersonal skills: high degree of patience and tact. Must be able to cultivate respectful, strategic and collaborative relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, both internally and externally.
• Hold yourself and others accountable for a high level of performance and integrity.
• Have an understanding and awareness of worker rights impacting SAG-AFTRA members.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Able to prioritize, organize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines.
• Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor.
• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at SAG-AFTRA's sole discretion.
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours per day or per week, including weekends as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
• Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
• High School or equivalent
• Some Administrative or Secretarial experience preferred
Certificates, licenses, and/or registrations:
• N/A
TESTING REQUIREMENTS:
• Basic Office Skills: Spelling, math, grammar, and filing – passing score: 76%
• Typing test 35 WPM
• Microsoft Word and Excel tests (basic and intermediate) – passing score: 76%
