Full Time Unpaid Internship
Pixar is offering an exciting internship opportunity geared toward students specifically interested in pursuing a career in Production Management. These positions offer valuable ''hands on'' experience and exposure to our unique production environment. Throughout the 12-week internship Production Interns work in collaboration with a production team covering every aspect of our feature film pipeline.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Gain knowledge about the Pixar production process and pipeline
• Support Producers and/or Managers with administrative tasks including office work, photocopying, scanning, phone support, note-taking, database entry, calendar maintenance, research and event planning
• Work with the Production Coordinators in the daily operation of a feature film helping to create a supportive, friendly and professional atmosphere while responding to production needs
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience performing general office skills such as calendar scheduling, handling phone calls, responding to email in a timely fashion and innate customer service orientation
• Possess a flexible nature and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Consistently able to be the positive face of the production at all times
• Excellent people skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Possess strong attention to detail and ability to follow-up on tasks, seeing them through to completion
• Positive 'can do' attitude while maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Film production background or interest
• Be highly motivated, mature and eager to be part of the Pixar team
• ?Ability to maintain focus on priorities among multiple assigned tasks in a dynamic work environment
• Mac computer literacy preferred; Photoshop skills a plus
• Working knowledge of office and database management software such as MS Excel and FileMaker Pro are a plus
• Access to a car, a valid drivers license and proof of current auto insurance desirable but not required
ELIGIBILITY:
• Those who have graduated within one year of the internship are eligible to apply
• Must provide a short personal statement (200 words or less) describing the following: Tell us about a team experience that has influenced you or has shaped the way you approach your work
• Must be available to work full-time Mon - Fri for 12 weeks between June 2018 – August 2018
