Picrow is is a Hollywood based production and post production company looking for a production accountant to join our accounting team. We produce top notch streaming content, so candidate must have knowledge of television or movie production accounting.
Duties include general production accounting, including, but not limited to payroll (start paperwork, freelancer contracts and timecards), petty cash requests, creating reports, AP, coding, cost tracking, and vendor payments, purchase orders, purchase card and bank reconciliations, preparing and tracking ACH/wire payments, bi-weekly and month-end cost reports and projections, ensuring accuracy of account reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Tech Savvy, detail oriented team player
Professional, confident, and diplomatic
Organized, detail oriented self starter who can multitask
The ability to problem solve and interact with senior management
Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and ability to prioritize
Excel and Quickbooks skills
Ability to adapt to different software - currently using Ease, PSL and Media Web - Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
Familiar with GAAP accounting practices
Accounting or Finance degree required. CPA a plus.
